PLAINTIFF: This is ludicrous, Your Honor. The Defendant is speaking nonsense in order to confuse the court.
VIKTOR SCHRECK: I am simply speaking the truth, Your Honor, which the Plaintiff finds inconvenient.
PLAINTIFF: You are wearing a facade of truth, but beneath that thin veneer is a wellspring of calumny and lies!
VIKTOR SCHRECK: Since “calumny” is a false and malicious statement designed to injure the reputation of someone, or some thing, and since I am the defendant in this case, and since I am relying on facts in my defense rather than innuendo, whose reputation am I injuring?
PLAINTIFF: Your own?
VIKTOR SCHRECK: Well there is that.
