ALICE: Boss, the latest figures have come back, and it’s not good news. People still aren’t buying Nifty Doorways Verandah in the numbers we’d hoped.
BOSS: Why is this happening?
ALICE: Customers claim we haven’t given them any compelling reason to upgrade.
BOSS: We released the software. We told them to buy it. We even made it shiny! What else do they want?
ALICE: Apparently they want it to do something useful.
BOSS: When they buy it we get money. How much more useful can it possibly be?
