ALEX: Why haven’t you people gone away yet?
SCO: Well, you see, we were struck with an epiphany of sorts…
SCO: SCO can’t make any money off of UNIX, because Linux is too popular… and there are already established UNIX companies that have grabbed the rest of the potential market. And we can’t make any money off of Linux, because the Linux community doesn’t trust us. And, if we were forced to be as honest as possible, we really don’t have the foundation we need for a good lawsuit. I mean, our claim just won’t be held up in court.
ALEX: And your epiphany was… ?
SCO: None of that matters. If we harass everyone enough, someone will eventually buy us out or pay us off.
