CUSTOMER: My company is more than a little concerned about the information Ubersoft collects when Nifty Doorways activates its “auto-update” feature.
ALEX: The ND Automatic Update mechanism was designed to detect when new updates to the operating system are available, in order to make the entire updating and patching process easier. All of he information that gets collected is relevant to the updating process only, and we never use that information outside the scope of the updating process.
