JUDGE: Before you do that, miss, would you midn telling me how it is you interact with these customers.
ALICE: Oh, I don’t interact with the customers directly. The Help Desk does that. Unfortunately they can’t be here today.
JUDGE: Why not?
ALICE: They’re being held by the Federal Government on charges of attempted kidnapping across international lines.
(Silence.)
