Three Steps Toward Bitterness

Three Steps Toward Bitterness

Comic Transcript

ALEX: So you ARE bitter about IBM abandoning OS/2.

MARK: Well of COURSE I’m bitter. But you have to understand, most of us didn’t become bitter due to an announcement made in 2005.

MARK: No, our bitterness started in the early 90s. You have to understand three things about IBM: one, it makes incredible and cutting-edge technology. Two, it has a habit of shooting itself in the foot. Three, after shooting itself in the foot, it quickly reloads and aims for the other foot.

ALEX: And with OS/2…

MARK: … it started at one and has been alternating between two and three ever since.
