THE BOSS (RIAA): You see gentlemen, the biggest problem with the Internet has always been that people want to do things on it. We intend to change all that.
THE BOSS (RIAA): Under the new, RIAA-enforced Internet, publishing original content will be too expensive and litigiously risky for the small, independent publishers who have been siphoning off our audiences, threatening our cash cows.
THE BOSS (RIAA): The only groups able to publish original content on the web will be those of us who have access to legions of high-powered lawyers.
THE BOSS (RIAA): In other words, everything will be exactly the way it was before the World Wide Web came along and ruined it.
