Issue 12 is here! oh frabjous day!

Oh frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!

Hopefully it'll be up for sale at the usual outlets Real Soon Now. I just checked KoboBooks (my preferred ebook source) and Amazon, but neither have it available yet. But soon my precious and I shall be together. Oh, yes we will.

On the down side, I've gotten used to reading chapter after chapter, one after the other. That's one of the great joys of coming to a series a bit later in the game ... knocking back all the fixes in glorious prose-gluttony. Until, finally at the end, I lay there spent and panting, temporarily sated. And the stirrings of desire for the next fix grow within me.

Hmmm, and you worried about the loss of *your* sanity! I write software for a living ... I lost my sanity decades ago. Don't worry, you really won't miss it at all.

Anyways, I look forward to buying it and devouring it with as much enjoyment as the previous 11 chapters! I thank you.

ebook will be out soon...

I create the epub and test it on a few devices. While I'm doing that I go to Bowker and set up the ISBN. It usually takes a day for the ISBN to be associated with the title. After that I start uploading the ebooks to Amazon, B&N, Kobo, etc. Each service has it's own processing time.

So at this point I think Friday is probably when it'll start showing up.

Is the double sized issue a clever way of skipping the "unlucky" 13?

A math joke: r = | |csc(θ)|+|sec(θ)| |-| |csc(θ)|-|sec(θ)| |

... I wanted #12 to be double-sized as sort of a celebration for going a year, and I wanted it to be kind of a Big Event.Next issue will be #13, though it may be October before it comes out (I'm trying to get new cover art for Year 2).
