JACK: I got it into my head I wanted to code, man… Eric knew better than to let me use his machines in the state I was in, so I stumbled into a public library and fired up one of their internet terminals.

JACK: It was running Nifty Doorways, but I didn’t care at the time…

ALAN: What did you code?

JACK: Well, I didn’t know at first, man. It was an urge without direction. But after using Nifty Doorways for more than a minute I knew there was something I had to do.

JOHNNY: What?

JACK: That paperclip, man… I had to take it out.
