ALAN: The SCO Group has a lot of nerve sending a salesman into my office, especially these days.

SALESMAN: We just wanted to remind you that SCO is the only company with any legal right to claim ownership of the UNIX operating system.

ALAN: Right… and assuming I believed you — which I don’t — what does this have to do with me?

SALESMAN: Well, we would consider it unfortunate if you were to purchase an operating system using improperly licensed technology… like Linux, for example.

ALAN: You do realize that Linux was never developed using Unix code, don’t you?

SALESMAN: Well, yes, now that you mention it, we did know that…

SALESMAN: We were just hoping you didn’t.

ALAN: Jack, get in here and hold this guy down. I need to throw a monitor at him.
