BARRY: A few days ago I thought it would be a good idea if I upgraded our development server–you know, the one that does configuration management for all our code.
ALEX: Uh-oh.
BARRY: No, actually, it turned out OK. The upgrade went flawlessly.
ALEX: Flawlessly?
BARRY: The next day I figured out how to fix a memory leak in UberWordSoftPro that was really bugging me. And today I figured out how to make Nifty Doorways boot fifteen times faster than it currently does. I can do no wrong. I’ve become a programming god.
BARRY: So anyway, that’s why I’m taking the next two weeks off.
ALEX: I hope you feel better.
