ALICE: Boss, the initial reports are coming in from our Doodle marketing effort, and we’ve hit a little snag.
BOSS: A snag?
ALICE: Well, our customer base seems to like the Doodle and most of them have responded positively to the store, at least in theory. But there is a key component of the equation that is not being cooperative.
BOSS: Key component? We have customers, a storefront, and a store interface. What more do we need?
ALICE: A product to sell. The web cartoonists aren’t interested.
BOSS: If I had a fist I would be shaking it in impotent rage.
