ALICE: I just got off the phone with a McFoodStuffs representative from their London office. Now that they finally understand what we’re trying to accomplish with this whole “Making a sandwich” patent lawsuit, they’re a little more sympathetic to our cause.
THE BOSS: Excellent!
ALICE: That said, they’re afraid that actually trying to enforce that interpretation of their patent will anger their customer base and hurt their business, so they’re not willing to pursue that lawsuit at this point in time.
THE BOSS: That is unfortunate.
ALICE: However they do say if we’d like them to sue us for anything else we should feel free to contact them at any time.
THE BOSS: Send them the list.
