SPOKESMAN FOR THE ASSOCIATED PRESS: Also joining us in this demonstration is an esteemed member of the press. Hi Jim.
JIM WASHINGTON: Hello.
SPOKESMAN FOR THE ASSOCIATED PRESS: The man to my right is Jim Washington, the nightly anchorman for SCLM-TV News. He is what we in the business call a “Newsman” — a respected colleague in the field of journalism. he often uses us as a source for his nightly segments. This is perfectly appropriate.
SPOKESMAN FOR THE ASSOCIATED PRESS: The man to my left is a blogger. he is what we in the business call an “interloper” — a scavenging vulture who threatens our relevancy by having the audacity to express opinions about things in the news without bothering to take any journalism courses whatsoever. The fact that he may be capable of diminishing the role we play in society haunts us, and we want to destroy him utterly, grinding his bones to dust and leaving his life’s work little more than a smoking ruin.
(Silence.)
