CUSTOMER: Why is Ubersoft lobbying to change New York election laws? What business do you have even getting involved in that kind of thing?
ALEX: We believe legislators did not fully understand the ramifications of their new campaign laws when they passed them.
ALEX: Ubersoft is concerned that New York State’s escrow and review requirements will unfairly discriminate against computer manufacturers that have signed Non-Disclosure Agreements with software developers.
ALEX: To that end, it was necessary for Ubersoft to explain this problem to New York State legislators and propose an alternative amendment to the current law that would protect the very thing that makes this country great.
CUSTOMER: Freedom? Democracy? Transparency in government?
ALEX: Intellectual Property Law.
