MARK: National Novel Writing Month. The point is to try and write an entire novel in a month.
ALEX: The publishing standard for a full-length novel is 90,000 words. Are you telling me everyone tries to write 90,000 words in one month?
MARK: Well… no. We try to write 50,000 words in one month, and we call it a novel.
