El Hombre Usa Rojo

Comic Transcript

DRINKY (Narrating): It was a typical Tuesday night, with all the usual suspects on hand: boozers, rejects, has-beens and never-weres.

DRINKY (Narrating): We were all asking ourselves the same question: which left the bitterest taste, failure or cheap hootch?

DRINKY (Narrating): Tonight we were going to find out. Tomorrow wed be too hung over to remember. Tomorrow night we’d try to find out again.

DRINKY (Narrating): That was the plan at any rate. It didn’t work out that way for me. I knew my luck was taking a turn as soon as she walked into the room.

ALEX: Binky?

DRINKY (Narrating): OK, so he wasn’t a dame. But he was wearing red…

CARTOONIST’S NOTE: The title of this comic is supposed to be a translation of “The Man Wore Red.” Keep in mind that I used Google Translate to do the translating, so it probably doesn’t… quite… parse.
