Reluctantly Moving Forward

Comic Transcript

JUDGE: Fine. For lack of any meaningful way to get out of it, I now call this court to order.

DEFENSE ATTORNEY: You can’t be serious.

JUDGE: I’m completely in favor of throwing this case out on its ear, counselor, but I need a legal reason to do so. Since you didn’t bother to come up with one, I’m obliged to at least hear what Ubersoft has to say.

DEFENSE ATTORNEY: But Your Honor, it’s obvious that Ubersoft is simply retaliating because they didn’t get their way in this matter! Common sense says you should dismiss it because it wastes the court’s time!

VIKTOR SCHRECK: If only the law was based on common sense.

DEFENSE ATTORNEY: You stay out of this.
