ALEX: Phil, why are we even doing this?
PHIL: What do you mean?
ALEX: Since when did it become so important to us for customers to have an “easy” time managing their distributed systems.
PHIL: Since we discovered that distributed networks require multiple site licenses and that we needed a good way to keep track of how much it was going to cost them.
ALEX: Oh.
PHIL: Of course, we decided it was going to be tough to get our customers to buy something that told them how many licenses to buy, so we figured it should probably do other stuff, too.
