CUSTOMER: Hello Ubersoft? I’ve heard that Linux is superior to Nifty Doorways. Is that true?

ALEX: Absolutely not.

ALEX: Many people are enticed by Linux’s promise of “free” software, but in truth the total cost of ownership of a Linux system is much higher than ours. Not to mention that there is no accountability in the Linux world… if something happened that destroyed your data due to a poorly-coded Linux application, legally you have no recourse.

CUSTOMER: So if something destroyed our data due to a poorly-coded Ubersoft application, we WOULD have legal recourse?

ALEX: Well, no, not really. Our EULA protects us from such things.

CUSTOMER: Then why did you just use that as an example?

ALEX: Did I mention that Linux users hate America?
