CUSTOMER: Yes… I just bought UberQuest… and, uh, I can’t help but notice that there is no version for either Linux or the Mac.
ALEX: UberQuest does not currently run on Linux or OSX.
CUSTOMER: What about all those posts you made in the forums promising that versions of UberQuest would be released for Linux and OSX at the same time the Nifty Doorways version was released.
ALEX: We fully intended to do so, but then we ran into development problems. We are currently evaluating our Linux and mac strategy and will release an announcement to the UberQuest community soon.
CUSTOMER: Will this announcement sound anything at all like “We suggest you all go out and buy Nifty Doorways 2001 so you can enjoy this wonderful game?”
(Silence.)
ALEX: Maybe.
CUSTOMER: I knew it!
