ALEX: We’re pleased to announce that the cartoonist, having successfully purchased his house, is no longer stressed out.
MARK: Which makes me very, very relieved.
ALEX: Yes… because now that the stress is gone, he no longer feels a need to plague Mark with misfortune in a desperate attempt to vent his anger at the world.
MARK: That’s right.
ALEX: Now he can go back to plaguing Mark with his misfortune simply because most people find it rather amusing.
(MARK sighs.)
