ALEX: As many of you know, over the last few weeks the cartoonist has been busy moving into his new house. It is only recently that he has been able to re-assemble his computer and set up a stable internet connection.
ALEX: While the cartoonist isn’t quite ready to return yet, the rabid nature of his fans is such that he has felt compelled to restart his strip despite his lack of preparedness. As such, I would like to apologize for the lack of subtlety in today’s punchline. Thank you for reading, and welcome back.
