CUSTOMER: you’re telling me that other than the money you make from selling your operating system, you operate at a LOSS?
ALEX: Well, no. We make a profit every year… from selling our operating system and our office suite, another cash cow.
ALEX: You see, Ubersoft is dedicated to taking chances. Pushing the envelope. And we’re willing to support products that don’t initially make a lot of money. We’ll throw our support behind something that doesn’t capture the interest of the market immediately, choosing to let our two profitable products support a flotilla of applications that don’t really make us any money.
CUSTOMER: And you do this because you believe your products are the best on the market?
ALEX: “Best on the market” is a phrase best reserved for marketing and management.
