PHIL: OK Beta Team, thanks for coming to our first meeting. Your role is going to be very important in the development of UberQuest, so i want to give you a run-down on our project status.
PHIL: When our first testable copy is available, we’ll need you all to dedicate most of your time to product testing. you’ll all be given dedicated machines to run this game on, to ensure that it doesn’t interfere with any of the business-critical software on your workstations.
MARK: Ooo… New hardware. Top-of-the-line, I presume?
PHIL: Of course. The idea is to make the game run at an acceptable rate for all of you, while requiring most of the gaming population to sink a few thousand dollars on hardware upgrades.
MONK: I love this job.
