ALEX: So you see, poorly written software plays a very important role in maintaining the health of our economy.

ALEX: Without poorly written software, we wouldn’t need the developers, the documentation experts, the consultants, and dare I say it, the Help Desk technicians… who help you, the customer, find ways to work around the bugs and shoddy workmanship so that you can still use the software to get things done.

CUSTOMER: But you DON’T help me work around the bugs. You just make excuses for them.

ALEX: True, but the theory is sound.
