ALAN: Guess so.
MARTY: Look… I just want you to know this isn’t personal. I’m not happy about you losing your job or anything. But we are happy to get the work. It’s a chance to show everyone that we have what it takes to do the job in a business environment.
ALAN: Fine. No hard feelings. Best of luck.
MARTY: Also we’d like to keep your number on file in the event we need your help in the future.
ALAN: I will cut you.
MARTY: Or we could just muddle through ourselves. That would be fine.
