ALAN: I always figured that some day we’d be outsourced, but I thought it would be a few more years down the road.
MARTIN: I thought NifTech would be bought out by a larger company and we’d wind up being let go with reasonably large severance packages.
PAUL: I figured Dreck would eventually learn we were using Linux instead of Nifty Doorways, issue an ultimatum, and I’d quit.
JOHNNY: I figured Scott would do something that would get hte police involved, which would lead to a chain of events ending with Dreck outsourcing our department to a bunch of second-rate tech wannabes.
(Silence.)
ALAN: That’s pretty much what happened.
JOHNNY: Well people should listen to me more.
