ALICE: Boss, I know you don’t want to hear this, but I don’t think it’s the right time to release the Operating System of Eternal Suffering. Our customer base still has some will and self-determination, and there are now viable alternatives for them to move to.
THE BOSS: … you may be right, Alice. There is still work that must be done before we can lock our customer base into an eternity of misery and despair. But how do we halt what I have already set in motion?
ALICE: I have an idea. You’ll have to do something ot the next version of Nifty Doorways, and you’re not going to like it.
THE BOSS: What is this thing I must do?
ALICE: You’re going to have to make it… good.
