CUSTOMER: How do you honestly expect people to use a computer when they can only run three applications simultaneously?

ALEX: You know, there used to be a time when computers only ran one program at a time.

CUSTOMER: Yes, that was about the same time when people who used computers only did one thing at a time with them. That’s not the case any more.

ALEX: Our research has shown that three applications is more than adequate for normal, everyday use.

CUSTOMER: I use more than three programs when I’m browsing the Internet!

ALEX: Three programs is more than anyone will ever need!
