ALEX: What are you doing to my computer?

PHIL: I’m installing some new “Trouble Customer identification” software.

ALEX: “Trouble Customer Identification?”

PHIL: Thanks to all the customer tracking technology out there, it’s possible to sort customers into “Good” and “Trouble” categories. We can then find ways of dealing with the “Trouble Customers.”

ALEX: I see.

PHIL: “Trouble Customers” impede our ability to make a profit. So we need to identify them, get rid of them as quickly as we can, and make room for the “Good Customers” who will actually make us money.

ALEX: And what is the profile for a “Trouble Customer?”

PHIL: For one, they tend to call the help desk.
