CUSTOMER: I have one of your 5-button mice. I recently upgraded the mouse driver software to your latest version, and now it seems that all the tools I used to have that allowed me to re-map mouse button functionality have disappeared.
ALEX: Mouse button remapping is no longer supported in our product line.
CUSTOMER: Why? Was it buggy?
ALEX: No… We just don’t support it any longer.
CUSTOMER: But it worked fine!
(Silence.)
CUSTOMER: That’s the reason, isn’t it?
