JUDGE: I will now preside over the case of Pirates vs. the RIA – you???
VIKTOR SCHRECK: Hello Your Honor.
JUDGE: What are you doing here?
VIKTOR SCHRECK: I am representing the Pirates in this matter, Your Honor. We will prove that the RIAA’s characterization of people who copy software, specifically music, as “pirates” dilutes trademarks duly registered by Ocean-Faring Piracy, Inc.
VIKTOR SCHRECK: We are demanding immediate cessation of all trademark diluting activities, compensation for damages and dilution caused to date, and demand that someone be, er, “keelhauled.”
JDUGE: Oh dear God no.
VIKTOR SCHRECK: I suspect that last bit is negotiable.
