Great Review of The Points Between

Submitted by C B Wright on

One of the editors from Web Fiction Guide posted a brief but great review of The Points Between. You can read it here.

Which reminds me, I have another chapter to post. (And another... and another... and another...)

Darn right you do. And a podcast with each one.

I wonder if I should register WritersDad as a login.

Probably.

Yeah, well.

It's been a distracting few weeks.

It's not that your public doesn't sympathize. But we have our own needs.

Say, in creating my WritersDad persona, I noticed something. You do a very nice thing in your CAPCHA setup, in telling the user that it is case insensitive. I wish more webmasters would do that. But ... you do not tell the user how many characters there are (apparently it is always 5). Why? Well, at the end of the character box there is a symbol that looks something like a Y. Different from the CAPCHA characters fonts but still within reason interpretable as a Y. And the answer box accepts 6 characters (or probably more). Took me 3 tries to get it right.

Yeah, yeah, I'm too literal Or maybe too dumb. Anyhow, telling the user how many characters to expect would be nice.

-----Dad-----

I don't actually control that.

The captcha stuff is controlled by Mollom, I don't configure any of that at all. I might wander by their site and see if there's any explanation for that.
