Distracted by Technology

Over the weekend I received my combination Father’s Day/Anniversary/Birthday gift early: a Nook Color. So obviously I had to devote a fair amount of time flashing CyanogenMod 7 on it and turning it into a full-blown tablet, which I have done.

This thing is flat-out amazing. A $250 Android tablet with a gorgeous display. It’s not quite as zippy as the more expensive tablets, but honestly? It’s not worth paying the extra money for the speed unless you’re planning to do something with your tablet that I haven’t thought of yet.

Anyway. The result of this is that I have been distracted by shiny, shiny technology, which has interfered with today’s update. I apologize for that, though at the same time I really don’t. 😉
